I got a call the other day from Ben Philo in CT saying "My name is Ben and I found a Gloden Quarter". I haven't heard that in at least 6 months since Ryan and Jordan Tucker found one, then Ken Runnian and then Daniel Irons! Well, out of nowhere another one of the 10 Gold Quartes surfaced. Here's the story...
Ben went into Cutting Edge in CT and asked to buy a copy of "Out There" but the shop was sold out! Figures.. it is an awesome movie! Anyway, Ben had wanted "Guarte" for his collection as well so he bought that instead. The kid behind the counter told him "it could be the golden quarter". Well Ben here thought the shop kid was heckling him but low and behold, he had won! And for those of you that have forgotten what this means.. it means he won $2400 in Santa Cruz Skateboards gear. Which breaks down to 24 decks, 36 tshirts, 6 sweatshirts, 24 hats and tons and tons and tons of stickers.
So congrats to Ben and also would like to remind all you shredders that there are 6 more Golden Quarters laying around in skate shops across the country! Get some!
