Yesterday me and Farty(Marty), the new art dept guy, went to Skateworks and installed this Creature window display... Here he is mugging it up. Yup, Party Marty pretty much killed it not counting when he hurled a screw at my face to impress a shop employee. So, I come in this morning to find out that Lil Farty got in a car wreck on the way home last night. Damn holmes! Karma blast! The real bummer is that we had been talking for weeks about his Halloween costume, visual reference... Looks like that whole thing went out the window. Maybe now you can go as a guy who just got in a car wreck... too obvious? Really though we are all hoping Farty heals up real fast, and we all gathered suggestions for Marty's new whip... Better yet, maybe now that you got that new tattoo you should just skate...

Fresno Josh is making a new video called Cancer Dust. He gave me the trailer on a DV tape like 2 weeks ago, I don't think he knew I have been rowing up sh*t creek for almost a month now. He rolled up yesterday with a USB drive and gave me the full "Fresno Strongarm". I can respect that, plus there are at least 6 tricks in this trailer that make my balls go up in my stomach

Well, today is the beginning of the Rumble in Ramona. Got a call from P-stone yesterday saying that the crew was in search of an empty keg to put on the vert ramp and get some tricks on... leave it to P-stone... check his and Conklin's Rumble updates over at The Thrash.

Things I learned from organizing our first "real-deal" contest...
- Never do one again
- Next year will be better
- Facilitation makes Navs grumpy
- Vert ramps are expensive
- 1000 beers are expensive (thanks Independent)
- Talking on the phone all day, priceless.
