Been a pretty heavy couple of weeks what with all the Black Metal premieres going down. The Santa Cruz premiere was pretty much awesome. Skateworks brought a quarter pike and we found some parking blocks, the whole thing turned into a demo straight out of '86. We also rented a U-Haul and held a 3's tournament inside. Wilson got some sweet clips, check it here...
As you can see Ole Cranston came to town for a few days. We took him to the Super Secret Bunker Mini and needless to say CranniePants did the undidable. There's no proof but I will for sure be telling my grandkids about it. He's currently tanning in SF, sounds Trife.
Ponts came to town too for a little bacon blue cheese burgers and beers... dudes got a new set of antlers on his hog, pretty gnarled.
Hitz just got back from his renegade Millawaukee Black Metal premieres. Here's what he said- "MILWAUKEE was sick...felt like those 72 hours drained faster than the brew in my can.saturday night at CREAM CITY sk8park was proper.all the minions,local heshers and goons showed up to watch the vid and shred the new bowl..as well as my family and a couple special guests.HITZ senior lives right around the corner so me and my brother went and scooped him up for a rare public appearance..after I chucked some prody at the kids and said my goodbyes at the park,I grabed a small crew and went back to the old mans house for a jam sesh.it gets a little fuzzy around that point but I do got some photos to help me out, check em-HITZ

Al P went up to Portland for the Black Metal premiere and just straight up decided to stay and get on the Grindline crew to pour a bit of the park-crete. Way to go Al! Photos coming soon.
You guys want to know whats up with Navs? Well, he owes me twenty bucks for only placing 14th in the ProTec Poo Party and what else... umm, he went to a place called Hip Hair and got his hesh cut off. According to him he's know a chick magnet and everything from cougars to goth chicks want a piece of The Lazer...
Everybody seems to really be into the video except for Chewy who said didn't say shit about it but said he really likes the Krux video, nice.

Southern Cali Rep Heavy Metal Chuck teamed up with John Ponts on a Harley Trip to Camp Cuatro Casa! Here's how it went down as emailed to me from HMC!
So I'm hanging out Thursday night and I get a call from John Ponts saying "hey lets ride our bikes down to Mexico and camp and skate with some friends."
I'm like "Lets do this!!"
So Friday I load my bike up and head to Ponts house in San Diego.

We then wake up at 6:30am on Saturday morning and Ponts, his lady Lyndsey and myself head to the border. In between TJ & Ensenada it rains off and on so that kinda sucks.

We then continue our drive down for about 4 more hours and have to turn down a dirt road... We then go the wrong way and we then proceed to get lost and finally... get my bike stuck in the sand.
Yeah... this is where they run the Baja500.


So we get back on track and find the beach! We're almost there!

We finally get to Campo Cuatro Casa Hostel and feel good about it.

When you get there you have to deal with Richard and pay him to stay there.. it's his place.

But somewhere along the way, Ponts and his lady lost their money... and can't pay. Check out the rates sign

My favorite part is this:

We do some skateboarding and some riping went down here... cause there's a MADE TO SKATE bowl there. It's called the SHOW BOWL!

Ponts was going for the frontside inverts and wrecked his wrist.

Moffet was doing ripping smithgrinds

White Dog was flared out doing long boardslides in the shallow end
We then had a few games of horseshoes

and then figured it was time to find a spot and set up our tents. So we found a nice place next to the cliff with a ocean view.

When it got dark we all watched the fight.

and the kids rolled around in the pool

and some real drinking got going


So on the way back we have to keep it easy on the cash cause I'm the only one with any and we have to make sure we have enough gas until we can find a ATM... which wasn't an easy find in Mexico. We finally found one at an AM/PM store right before we were completely out of gas.
We then headed the rest of the way home... but not before we pretty much ran over some people in the middle of the lanes at the border selling stuff.
Once we hit the USA we split up and I headed home as Ponts and Lyndsey headed their way.
It was about a 7 hour ride for me that day and one awesome trip.
